Nothing like making the effort to be sure both snaps line up, ey?  Can't say whether that's just poor training, or poor quality control because the individual who is responsible for quality control has to put a mark or a sticker or something to make note that this is not done correctly and needs to be fixed but then how do you fix something of that magnitude.  Honestly, you would have to replace the entire bottom wrap around because you just can't move a snap from the wrong spot to the right spot and leave an exposed, old, wrongly drilled hole.  So who makes that decision, the guy who notices the quality control and puts a sticker note on it or another person who determines that would be too costly and not noticeable enough and lets it go through?  Sucks either way.
