    seat removal

On a 95, the bench will com out in one BIG piece... The bottom cushions screw on from the underside of the wood frame and the back cushions will be the first thing to take off. As bendinglass stated, you will find the tiny holes along the inner edges of the cushions I thin about every foot or so. Probably starting an inch or two from the end. When you redo upholstery, use the wood from the bottoms to make your top vinyl cut. After sewing, it comes out to the perfect size and shape with straight stitches along these templates. The back cushions are a lil more tricky and require a curved cut at you can't really get a template of. Be sure to leave extra vinyl for stainless stapling underneath... A lot of work and money to be lost if you short yourself! I went thru 3 sewing machines to get the job done. Get a Brother brand machine($150ish), as it can handle the job. Good luck!!!
  2. We had a similar problem. If there is seating above, check where it is anchored down. Toggles, screws, etc....
  3. I absolutely HATED my android. Now iPhone 4s user.

    Overheating on muffs

What about the strainer on the port side of transom, does water take up there too?
  6. My chap is overheating on muffs. Has new circulating water pump, manifolds, risers, & impeller. Only overheats while in neutral when you rev it up. Hasn't been swimming since we bought it & new parts were installed. Will that make a difference?
  7. I'm really wondering if there are fish finders, sonar, and radar that will hook up to iPad.
  8. There are a few different waterproof cases. I'm certain otter box is NOT one of them. I have mine in an otter box all the time but will be investing in a water tight pouch very soon. Just trying to decide which case and what apps I can use as well to streamline and reduce our on board equipment.
  9. Ahhhhh I feel saltwater pumping thru my veins already!!! C'mon water!!!!
  10. I have two iPads. They have to get seriously hot in the sun to not operate. Shade is definitely its friend. Mine got too hot on my truck dash before and it has a built in heat sensor or something that will not allow it to turn on and operate until it cools off. I have found waterproof cases that will keep it nice and dry, so that's not really a big problem either. I have been looking at apps for marine use and found a few. I am really considering the iNavX app. Anyone else used this?
  11. Does anyone here use an iPad to replace any of your electronics? If so, what are its capabilities on water?
  12. Just sit right back and you'll hear a tale, A tale of a fateful trip That started from this tropic port Aboard this tiny ship. The mate was a mighty sailing man, The skipper brave and sure. Five passengers set sail that day For a three hour tour, a three hour tour. The weather started getting rough, The tiny ship was tossed, If not for the courage of the fearless crew The minnow would be lost, the minnow would be lost. The ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle With Gilligan The Skipper too, The millionaire and his wife, The movie star The professor and Mary Ann, Here on Gilligans Isle. So this is the talel of the castways, They're here for a long, long time, They'll have to make the best of things, It's an uphill climb. The first mate and the Skipper too, Will do their very best, To make the others comfortable, In the tropic island nest. No phone, no lights no motor cars, Not a single luxury, Like Robinson Crusoe, As primative as can be. So join us here each week my freinds, You're sure to get a smile, From seven stranded castways, Here on "Gilligan's island
