    New 18 & 19 H2o Extended Platform

The only reason I would consider this one is the wife may be able to deal with the heard. the heard on the other one if I remember correctly is about 2500 to 3000. Chaparral come on, extend it side to side for 1000 deer and I will hunt.

    YouTube video of lucky boater

I also found if you tie off to your trailer hook instead of the bow cleat the boat will stay on top of the waves better if anchored out or tie to a buoy. I leave my boat tied out when camping and seen it handle some rough stuff.

    H2O Prop

Yes to both! Unless you can afford to trade boats - Rip5- you can go with 18" alpha 4 aluminum and smart tabs. It will make a big difference. Want be able to do 45 mph in 2' chop like Rip5 but it will help in 1' running 25 - 30 mph. Search my threads, I've added both.

    New boat hull warranty question

Yes I knew that, but he said hull and smart tabs are drilled into the hull. By the way, search my post, I installed smart tabs 80 pound tabs. I don't care what they recommend, matter fact, if you want the 60 lb tabs, pm me, I have a set.

    Just a little video

Just stumps, that lake scares me! Although, I have enjoyed it many times. And personal know of four stump involved accidents. I watched a skier be picked up at the dock by EMS after hitting a stump.

    5.0MPI CAT long start time?

Sounds just like mine, must admit I have worried about this before, good to know it is normal. Thanks for posting.
  8. Your loosing 4mph compared to alpha 4 20" and are on target with a new spitfire 19". The spitfire will pull me (210 pounds) out on slolam, the highfive would not. Hate to say it, but the highfive added vibration to my boat. Other than getting up on slolam I prefer the alpha 4 20", it has great pull, I can tap 51 mph in good conditions, but 49 all day long. 19"'s and below will hit the Rev limiter.

Brand new 203 vrx jet only goes 28mph @ 7000rpms!

By the way, I bet the RPM's hit 10,0000+

Brand new 203 vrx jet only goes 28mph @ 7000rpms!

On my Yamaha wave runner the clearance is so tight on the jet pump (impeller and housing), you would think it is touching. You want it tight or you will get blow back and loose power.

    Just brought her Home

You can't afford not to get a sufficient tow vehicle. You can eventually get up to speed I. Any vehicle, stopping that beast, that trailer has breaks! Gust of air from passing 18 wheeler, it's your ars.

    Mercury Spitfire Prop

I have finally. Taken plunge and installed a Quicksilver Nemesis Propeller, 14x19RH. (Mercury Spitfire prop. First, it will hit the Rev limiter, BUT. it pulled my 210# butt up on slolam. Even the highfive 19" was not able to do it. I have been trying to get up on slolaam since I got this boat. I have even tried the alpha 4 18" pick and it wouldn't pull me out. Would love to know if the 21" nemesis / spitfire would pull me out, but hate to spend the deer and it dose not. The 19" took a bit, so the 21 probably wouldn't. I could reach 46 mph at 4900 rpM withe the 19 nemesis before hitting the Rev limit.
