About Snlcorn

  1. Thanks for the info! Always appreciated. Stacey
  2. I am not an expert on oil by any means. Would it be OK to sub the Mobil 1 15w-50 synthetic for the recommended 05W-30 synthetic? The literature Yamaha provides stresses the oil should be 4M FC-W certified. I appreciate your time. Stacey
  3. The prices are very affordable there. They are planning on adding a resort on the Port Charlotte side of the bridge directly across from the Raceway gas station. I'm assuming this will impact real estate prices once they get started. I don't care for Port Charlotte that much. The vibe changes distinctly once you cross the bridge into Punta Gorda. Once I retire from the Army in about three years we plan to retire somewhere in that vicinity. Pine Island and Malacha have some real nice properties that are very affordable too. Stacey
  4. Thanks for taking the time to answer. I saw where you mentioned you might be moving to Punta Gorda in another thread. My sister-in-law and brother-in-law live in Punta Gorda and my in-laws live across the bridge in Port Charlotte. Punta Gorda is a beautiful place. Hopefully I will run in to you sometime down there. Stacey
  5. I have a Yamaha 250 SHO outboard and I was wondering if anyone uses a brand besides Yamalube? I've read where Wingnut recommends Mobil 1 15w-50 for an inboard motor. Would this be sufficient for an outboard? Thanks Stacey
  6. There is an older thread where someone shows pictures of them installing the door on the port side. I'm too lazy to search and link it for you.
  7. Thanks for the help. It's a torsion axle trailer. Looks like I'll have to wait until next week to get it fixed. Thanks again Stacey
  8. I just bought a new magic tilt trailer. I towed it to Kentucky from Florida and took two two hour trips to the lake with it. As I was inspecting the trailer this morning, I noticed the front right tire was bald on the inside. Can anyone help me with what I need to do to fix this ASAP? I plan on leaving at noon today to tow it to Harrison Bay in Chattanooga. Thanks Stacey
  9. I am in the Army, so I am all over the place. My in laws live in Florida and I live in Fort Knox. I want to be able to use it in both fresh and saltwater. Thanks Stacey
  10. I'm looking at buying a used Chaparral. The ones I have looked at are 2008 models and up and have been in saltwater. My question is what should I look for/avoid when looking for a boat? I've been told to stay away from I/Os that have been used in saltwater. I have a 21 H2O and want to upgrade to a larger boat, preferably a 25 foot or larger. Does anyone have a suggestion on model and year? As farvas new boats are concerned, I am drawn towards the 243 VR Vortex and the 230 Suncoast. Does anyone have experience with these boats? Thanks for your time! Stacey
  11. Did you go to your email to finalize the submission on CL?
  12. I actually did call them and emailed them. They are the worst at following up. I have dealt with them for the last two years and every tiem I try to give them money they fail to follow up. Thanks! Stacey
  13. I am looking for a galvanized or alumimum trailer for my 21 ft H2O.Does anybody know where the best place is to order one/find one near Louisville, KY? I'm stationed at Fort Knox and I can't seem to find a dealer etc. I have sent emails to dealers, but no response. Thanks Stacey
  14. It's a Karavan trailer 2013 that fits a 21 foot H2O.
