  1. Is this too ludicrous to be true? I must say...NO! We have a beach front condo in a high rise in Gulf Shores. It is on the rental program and I stop by and check things out, whenever I am in the area and it is unoccupied. Last fall I "popped in" and to my surprise I find sex toys and medications (???) in the master bedroom's top dresser drawer and after looking I discover that my bedroom's hall access door's dead bolt lock had been changed. The main access door uses an access code for entry and stores the info of who has entered and when... No doubt that "someone" in the rental agency was utilizing my condo as their private sex hideaway. A management person with the rental agency who I have gotten to know admitted to me that "it happens". So, there is no reason to think that unscrupulous individuals would not utilize your boat in the same manner......SAD....really sad! Like edreg104 said....keep a close watch and take note!
  2. The first link you posted http://s1259.photobucket.com/user/boater1944/library/ is to post your entire library and this will not work......Just post the direct link to the pic you want displayed.... as per the following...(i removed the http:// to post the text and not the pic itself) //i1259.photobucket.com/albums/ii560/boater1944/test038_zpsmjkfp4v1.jpg
  3. Denny, Go to "Insert other media" bottom right hand side of your posting window, ....select "Insert image from URL" and paste the "direct" code from photobucket into the box......
  4. I don't know, but I have my doubts that a new account will resolve these issues. If they still want to charge for 3rd Party Hosting, I would go elsewhere as will I when and if that time comes.
  5. You will find the "Tools" in your Firefox Menu (on top). Click it and select "ADD ONS", then select "Extensions". Yuo activate there, and it mau already be activiated by default. once activated, you will see an small "Stop Sign" on your Firefox tool bar. SST, I have been with photobucket for over 10 years, perhaps my account is "grandfathered", IDK..... but either way, this sucks and they will be losing users....... and revenues . I for one will not pay!
  6. You may already know this and have done so, but be sure to activate it under "Tools"...Add Ons
  7. If you do manage to download it, be sure you download Adblock PLUS...... not Adblock Try here: https://addons.mozilla.org/En-us/firefox/addon/adblock-plus/
  8. If you upload directly to the "site", the pic is stored on the servers hard drive and occupies valuable storage space and slows down the server. If pics are loaded via a "link", there is no storage on the sites server. This is why most sites "limit" the number and size of uploads, to preserve disk space and maintain performance.
  9. FWIW, I use Firefox browser and the Adblock Plus add on. Works great on 99% of sites....including photobucket. However, when I turn Adblock OFF, the ads are numerous and there is no way I would put up with all their AD BS because like you say, you can't even navigate the site!
  10. I am at 40%......
  11. OOOOOOOOOOOK!.....and...my sig is linked from photobucket as well.... and NO, I do not pay for the service
  12. Working for me...no issues......just have to keep my Ad Blocker updated, otherwise I can not navigate due to the "ad storms"
  13. I hope everyone will Drink, Steal, Swear and Lie this 4th of July! Drink.....from the fountain of Life, making each day the best you possibly can Steal.... time away from your job to spend more time with your family and friends Swear....you will make tomorrow a better day Lie.... in bed at night and thank God for allowing you to be a part of his plan Wishing each of you a safe and happy 4th!
  14. FWIW, the Drain Plug LED I purchased and was NOT impressed was a "LED BOAT DRAIN PLUG LIGHT BTY 20 WATT 1000 LUMEN UNDERWATER LED LIGHT LED" by diablo-royale-customs for 60 deer. They do have a new dual drain plug I am considering.... http://www.ebay.com/itm/BLUE-LOKI-2-UNDERWATER-LED-BOAT-PLUG-DRAIN-LIGHT-50-WATT-2400-Lumens/252971005006?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649
  15. Ditto, me too, not impressed with plug light. Is your pic above of those LEDS from Westmarine? I assume they are.....if so, very nice for the price!
