    1997 Sunrsta 250

I have a poorly disguised hole above the water fill on the left side of my swim platform. I believe this at one time was a shower. Can anyone tell me for sure and the OEM so I can return it to original or better? Thanks!

Most likely the manufacturer is windline. They sell replacement parts online.

    Toyota Tacoma for Towing

I ended up buying the Tundra CrewMax 5.7 SR5 TRD a few weeks ago. I really like it. It tows well. I've moved the boat foreword such that my tongue weight is about almost 500 lbs. Thanks for all the input. I'm just getting used to not getting 30 mpg. My average is 16 and towing looks to be around 7.

    Toyota Tacoma for Towing

I just had the boat weighed. 5580 lbs. with very little fuel. Add 400 lbs for fuel and were up to almost 6k. My local Toyota dealer says he can let me have a Tacome and a Tundra overnight so I can do my tow test. I don't think that would be the case if I hadn't had my wife with me. I think he's fond of her. Me too! Will report back. Frank

    Toyota Tacoma for Towing

Thank you all for the input. I'm reading and weighing every post. I just really like the Tacoma and hope to stay with a smaller truck. Hope not being a sound strategy to secure a successful outcome, I appreciate all of your input. Though I'm still hopeful, I'll weigh the boat this week. That may determine the direction I go right away. Until we figure this out. Keep it coming! Thank you!

    Toyota Tacoma for Towing

I don't own the one I'd like to buy yet. GTW Braked is shown twice on the same document. 3500Lbs. & 6500Lbs. The dealership hasn't been very helpful. Thats why I'm reaching out to actual owners. I want to buy a good used v6 4wd 4door long bed Tacoma.

    Toyota Tacoma for Towing

I bought a 4000 lb Chap. in September and need to be able to tow it. I would prefer a Tacoma. Is anyone doing this? With what success? Any challenges? My towing will be limited to mostly flat roads and durations of about an hour. Hopefully some trips of several hours or more. +- 5000 lbs rolling load +- 175 Tongue Wt Thanks! Frank

I recently bought at 1996 Sunesta

El Capitan, do you have the extra filler cushions for your boat? I have a '97 Sunesta and am looking for the optional cushions and support assembly. Thanks, Frank 443-239-0813

    Chaparral Parts Wanted

Thanks Denny. I have all of the basic cushions but don't have the center filler option that turns the bow area into a large bed. I also don't have the aft table. Thanks again. Frank

    Chaparral Parts Wanted

I just bought a nice '97 Sunesta 250 and am looking for a set of center cushions and the support assembly. If you don't want to part with yours, photos would be helpful so that I can construct my own. This may have been a Lake Norman boat maybe a rental Thanks!
