Thanks dan. I appreciate your feedback. The upgrade is 450$ and they really don’t explain what the upgrade is other than a transom remote. They don’t specify better speakers or amp or subwoofer.

I just ordered a 2021 21ssi. Should I go with the upgraded stereo system (clarion with the transom remote). I didn’t order it and now having second thoughts. Is it that much better or should I just put in an aftermarket system with speakers amps and subs. I didn’t have an opportunity to hear the stereo. Your feedback is appreciated. Thank you in advance.

New to the forum, and honestly new to boating overall. My wife and I just placed an order for a Chaparral 21 ssi. my question is, I have a 2015 Toyota Tacoma 4X4 with the towing package. Will the Tacoma be able to pull this boat? The chaparral dealer says no problem........... the truck is rated at 6100 pounds. I am more concerned about safety but wanted to ask some of the veteran boaters who may have some experience. your comments are welcome. I refuse to purchase a new truck to accommodate the boat purchase. Thank you in advance
