  1. Hey guys! This is one of those "just curious" type of threads. Since I've gotten my Chap I've been impressed by it. The boat is very solid. The vinyl is gorgeous. The carpet still maintains its color and feel. The gelcoat still shines. Etc. My question is really based on all the reading I do over at iboats. They have a ton of resto projects where boats like ours ROT and people end up redoing the whole boat down to the stringers, transom, motor mounts, etc. So, of the many owners here, how does Chap compare to some of the other boat brands that tend to rot e.g. Searay, crownline, wellcraft, etc
