    Seadek flooring

I've just purchased a 2012 Sunesta 264. The carpet is kind of worn and the rubber/foam on the swim platform has seen better days as well. I'm thinking of doing the whole boat with Seadek, which is that dense rubbery foam stuff. I like the look and feel of it and a lot of new boats seem to have it, I just wonder how long it lasts and is this the right choice? It's expensive. Any thoughts and experiences would be appreciated.

    Nautikflor suggestions

Hello everyone, We are new here (my husband and I). We have a 1998 Signature 27 Chaparral. We want to remove the cabin carpet (nasty!!!) and replace it with some type of synthetic flooring. I read a thread on here yesterday about Amtico so I reached out to the company. The gentleman emailed me that they no longer sell Amtico for DIY (do it yourself) projects and we want to replace it ourselves. He asked me to look into their Nautikflor product which can be sold for DIY. What is your opinion on this product? What do you recommend as far as price? I don't even know how much this would cost. I believe the Nautikflor can't be used outside only in the cabin? Not sure. Anyhow, I had in mind putting some gray flooring but I am willing to look into the teak imitation if it less costly. I appreciate your suggestions. A lot of knowledge in this forum. Glad I found you all. Thanks everyone.
