  1. I have a 2007 Chaparral Signature cruiser. The original freshwater pump has been having low water pressure. It now does not turn off automatically; I have to manually turn of the pressure switch. Since this pump is 10 years old, would it be better to just replace it with a new one than trouble shoot it? If replacement is the route, do I have to get the exact same OEM pump? Can I upgrade the pump to a higher one? It is easy to replace the pump? Appreciate your thoughts.

    327 SSX fresh water pump

I have a bad fresh water pump on my 2014 327 SSX. Has anyone changed this pump out yet? It looks like it is bolted directly through the plastic water tank itself and sealed with rubber grommets. What happens to the nut inside the water tank when you unscrew the bolt? Is it glued in place or will fall down in the water tank which is retrievable at that point. No one would ever design something that stupid would they. The water pump could have been mounted anywhere, why would they mount it through the water tank? Any help would be appreciated.
