  1. I have a 2016 H20 sport 21' and in the ski storage locker located between the captain and passenger seat will not drain. There is a drain in the aft wall however the problem is that the fuel tank is pushed up so close to the drain hole that it prevents any water from exiting into the bilge. I have contacted Chaparral about this and they sent me an email with pictures of how to fix. They show to drill a hole in the locker floor board just in front of the hole on the wall and that should do it. However, I have drilled into the floor 3 1/2" and it did not open up. I did not want to drill any deep

What a terrible design an aluminium tank sitting half in the bilge extending right under the cabin requiring extensive cutting of the structure as well as removal of engine and all of the ancillaries in the hull close by, to enable its replacement. Wrong design, wrong material, all wrong. Apart from us being nearly killed I now have a boat all but valueless as the cost to
  5. Hello All, I thought I’d check with the Chaparral Owner’s community to get feedback regarding a quite major problem I’m having (at least by my standards). I have a 2000 Sig 300, Twin Gas Engines, with about 700 hours. The boat is moored at Lake Coeur d’Alene, in North Idaho, fresh water. I’m the second owner, and have owned the boat since 2003. We spend all of our summer free time aboard her, and until now, have had very few problems, and loved the boat immensely. A couple of weeks prior to the Fourth of July, we were out on the lake. My wife was down in the cabin, and complained to me of smel
