Sebago280sig
I just purchased a 2007 280 Signature and am trying to figure out all the ins and outs. I am struggling to figure out how to get power to the tv, microwave and stove. I flip the breaker on and don't get any power to the galley area. Is there a trick that I need to be aware of? Batteries are all on and power works everywhere else.
Richard W
Some high power devices like stove, microwave oven, A/C/Heater, hot water heater, etc, would not run on battery for long ... you need shore power connected or running generator if your boat has one. The TV on Chap boats is often 120V AC as well ... for whatever reason. The fridge is dual power most likely. The battery charger also requires 120V AC.Somewhere in the info section on the forums you will find links to boat manual, parts list, and brochure for your boat's year and model. It might be helpful to download the documentation to get familiar with your boat.BTW, congratulations!
