Filling holes in dash

Recommended Posts

So the previous owner had a fish finder mount screwed onto the dash and decided to keep it when he sold the boat to me. I'd like to fill in the holes and put a suction cup bracket over the area to put my iPhone. It doesn't need to look perfect, just good enough to make a seal so the suction cup on the new mount makes a seal on the area. Pls share your thoughts on how to fill the holes. Thanks!

Google furniture slides, and attach that to your dash.Makes a perfect place to put a suction cup, they come in different colors.

Spectrum Color sells a small 2 ounce patch paste for holes, small scratches ... for Chap boats.

Check them out.

For like they were never there use color matched Gelcoat. if it does not matter as much how it looks, use caulk or epoxy putty.
