drewm3i
For the life of me I can't find a stereo housing that will fit my existing dash cut out. The old one is sun-weathered and I want to replace it when I install my new stereo. The face dimensions are about 9" x 4" and the cut out dimensions are about 8" x 2.5". Any idea where I can find one? I've already tried 3 and none worked! Help! LOL! Here is the old one that I need to find an exact replacement for:
Badger
I have the same situation with my '96 2330. I have no idea how much it might cost, but this part might be a good candidate for "3D Printing".https://www.whiteclouds.com/
Badger
But then again, you'd have to paint it...... which it looks like you could do to your old one.....

drewm3i
Badger,I'm thinking this one may work:http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Boat-Motorcycle-Spa-Stereo-Radio-Head-Unit-Housing-Guard-BLK-Smoke-Door-/201415343877?hash=item2ee54a3f05:g:D~0AAOSw3ydVyAu4HOWEVER, I happened to stumble across a brand new direct replacement for mine just now on ebay. I think it was the only one, but here is the sellers page: http://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/overstockboatpartsAsk about the "plastic tan stereo housing." Maybe they have more! flyboycj84
Drew, is your old one structurally ok? You may look at covering it in 3m Di-Noc. I just did my dash with it and it looks awesome. They have a bunch of different wood colors, and carbon fiber. The stuff is great, just use a heat gun and it will conform and shape to all the curves on the existing one. Then a few shots of clearcoat for the shine.
