vtjim345
I was psyched to get the boat in the water tomorrow. I had the 300 hour work done this year on my 2011 246 SSi with Merc so i was hoping for a relatively problem free year. I brought boat home today, put a nice fresh coat of 303 on the covers, put all the stuff where it needs to go and went through checklist. I put water in the bilge - no bilge pump - either by float or switch. Checked circuit breakers. No noise or anything. How is one supposed to get at that? Thanks for any suggestions! BC2
Crazy question... If you removed the batteries, could you have missed a wire when hooking them back up?
Phillbo
I was going to ask the same question... Were the batteries stored out of the boat for the winter?
cyclops2
Vermont ? Me 3 about the batteries?
vtjim345
So after reading these posts I just went out and checked. Wiring seemed AOK. Flipped the bilge swift and now it works. I Had left about 4" of water in bilge for about 2 hours. Could that have loosened something that was bound up?
drewm3i
You probably have a loose connection somewhere. Don't worry about it for now and go boating. Check the bilge periodically for water and enjoy.
