I bought a new 2017 H2O with a 200 HP Yamaha OB this summer. I love the boat but I am not clear on two things - the power steering still seems to be tight when turning left (45 hours) and my gauges don't light up at night with my lights on. Does anyone know if this is normal?

Not normal. Take it back to the stealership to be repaired.

Often helm/gauges lights are on at all time and on a different circuit than the nav lights. Is there a dimmer for the helm lights somewhere?

Don't think there is a  dimmer on H20 models. But worth a look.

The gauges light up, but I think you have to press and hold the mode button to get them to turn on. I had the same issue one evening driving home in the dark. Figured it out later via google.
