If it smells in the cabin and not the engine compartment you have a tank leak. Either hoses or sender or tank itself

You have a gas leak. I am sure you know this is a very dangerous and serious situation.

Four things to consider, check, and exclude one by one, carefully ...

1. Gas spilled during fillip went into bilge

2. Leaking hoses: fill up, vent, engine pickup, genset pickup

3. Seal around fuel level sensor/sender leaking

These woud be easy to fix, if non of them then ...

4. Leaking fuel tank ... get a professional help.

Could be leaking tank, loose sender gasket, fuel filter spill from a change, old fuel lines that have had the lining eaten through, or any combination of these. Get an expert to take a look and don't run the boat in the meantime. Also turn off all electrical.
