2003 Sunesta - AC plug on driver console Not working how to replace

5 posts in this topic

Hey everyone - 2003 Sunseta

the AC outlet on the console stopped working after I tried to run an air pump off of it - looked for the fuse and couldn't find it. Found the board in the storage compartment in front of console but not sure how to fix it.

Any heplful advice on how to fix would be great.

Thanks

matt

Do you mean AC or DC power?

If DC, a breaker might be on a DC panel or sometime they use a fuse that might be inline somewhere behind the DC outlet.

Other thing to check is the inline fuse inside a plug of your air pump.

It’s the 12V (cig lighter) - next to the steering wheel. Pump still works and the 12v plug won’t charge my phone anymore.

Any thoughts

thanks

most likely an inline fuse.  I had one stop working and that's what it was.  If you have another plug somewhere else on the boat that you know is working you might switch it out to see if it's the plug itself or the fuse.  took a while to find the fuse in the bundle of wires but eventually found it.  local auto parts store should have the fuse.  They're pretty inexpensive.
