Helping my neighbor find a boat

Recommended Posts

Appears in good condition but about a 7-8K boat where I live. I’d say keep looking.

Sure looks clean.  But they always seem to show clean(or cleaner) in photos.

Be tough to find a cleaner 17 year old boat

take it for a ride and have a survey.

i had a steel trailer once, i didn't have any issues.  a little heavier than aluminum.  NADA shows me a book value of 12,600 without any options or trailer.  if it checks out offer 10k, sometimes people just want to sell and get it over with.

In my market, given there's only two or more feet of ice on the lakes and 18 inches of snow on the way, it means spring is coming and boat prices will be at their peak.  That 16k looks about right but since it is EFI and not MPI, it is a non starter.  Plus those particular Sea Ray's are loaded up with wood in places that Chap already stopped using wood.

Im looking for input. Here are my thoughts.

Harvey boat

no ESP

steel trailer

about 5 or 6 heard to much for the year

Thoughts

I'm not sure why that's listed in Binghamton, I'm here and it looks like it's a good 4 hours away from me. May want to watch out for that one
