Just putting it out there...boat's gotta go.

Recommended Posts

I regretfully have not been in here as often as I like due to focusing on changes we are making in our lives in the near future.

I have not been using the Money Clip as much as I would like.

So if there is anyone out there who may be looking for a 236SSx model in the next several months time, hit me up.  I can tell you this is a beautiful boat, has been well maintained, and has a brand new upper drive unit with approximately 25 hours on it.  I would be shocked if someone would not be pleased purchasing this boat.

I am in no hurry to sell.  It is stored inside a climate controlled building at all times when not on the water.

I'm just putting it out there if someone sees themselves wanting to move into something different upon the conclusion of this boating season.

Please contact me at ehorm17@gmail.com for more details/pics.

I was looking for a 236SSx when I was shopping around.

Its a unique model made 3 years.

If someone wants that boat I have all the info should they hit me up.

Posting pics on here is painful. Easier via email.

Please tell me how to do this. I grew extremely frustrated yesterday trying to do so.

Why the aversion to posting the specs of the boat you are selling?

Oh there isnt.

its a 2007 236SSx with the 5.7 GSI, Volvo Penta DP with 234.8 hours on the boat.

The upper drive unit was replaced with a brand new unit last summer.  I believe it now has approximately 25 hours on the drive.

I purchased the boat two years ago from a member in here.  The boats name was Porcelain.  I’ve since replaced the trailer with a new Load Rite Elite, added Bennett trim tabs, Samson tower with full racks and sound system.  It has always been stored in a climate controlled building when not out for the weekend.

I specifically searched this boat out for model and black hull.  The 236SSx is about the max limit I can tow and has enough weight to take moderate chop.  I also like the lay out with the walk through transom door and head compartment.  For us it was the perfect boat.  Where we are looking to move, it no longer is.

I wasn’t trying to avert anything.  I just wasn’t sure what I’m allowed to post in the Boat Talk section until it becomes a full blown For Sale post.

If anyone can tell me how to post pics without exceeding the limit, I can do so too.

In the past I used to use photoshop.

I use two methods. I put them in my folder on this website under my Profile.

Or I link them over from my OneDrive account.

I have a car I am selling.  If anyone wants it let me know.

Seriously....you need more details.  Heck....even a CL link would be great.  Location would be nice too.

I know how well kept and how good of a deal that would be. I would need a new tow vehicle for a 256, though. I could go 23 maybe 24.

I will once the season is over.

I still have 2 more trips planned.  Not that I wouldn't sell it before; money is money.

I'm going to clean it up and place it on boat trader at that point.

The pictures will certainly do it justice.  It's a beautiful boat and is perfect for someone into watersports.  I have over $7500 in the tower and speakers and another $4000 in the trailer on top of trim tabs, a brand new upper drive unit and a $30+k boat.  ;)

I actually bought it from a guy in Florida.

And it has a brand new Penta upper.  So pretty much a 2017 Penta (with warranty) on a 2007 SSx.
