Dreamboat276
2006 Chaparral Signature 276, wanting to install my new Catalina MAGMA grill on swimplatform. Is the swimplatform hollow? Bolt through is probably not an option. Sinking 1/4"x 1 1/2" screw bolts into platform will probably be the solution, but not certain. Can I just run these bolts--along with 5200--into the swimplatform? Installing the pedestal mount.
2004lebanshee
I'd go with 4200. You might need to remove it later.

I used screws/4200 and it has held very well for 4 years now. Everyone will tell you through bolting is best (and they're right), but I simply couldn't reach deep enough. I used to have photos on here until Photobucket did their thing. Another option may be to install a rod holder (and Magma rod holder mount). @Hatem has great threads on installing rod holders and they're a lot more accessible to the underside.
