I hope I am posting this in the correct area! But the floor in my 88' Chaparral is quite worn and old obviously, and the stingers/bulkheads are rotted such that the motor mount is not completely firm (it has slight play when tugged on by my hand). I will be removing my carpeting, seats, motor, everything..and replacing the stingers/bulkheads, then will re-fiberglass the interior hull, seal it and re-carpet. But, before I start I would like to know what I'm getting into down there, and needs some schematics.
Where can I find these?
Any help would be appreciated, also, it seems obviously bad so I haven't but is it okay to operate the boat without repairing?

What kind of schematics are you wanting???????
not much below the floor that is confusing. If you really need it, take measurements of the stringers once you get that deep into it just to make sure they go back in the same place.
Replacing the floor and stringers is not that much of a "brain" job, just alot of time, patience and talent is needed.....
