This is the next step in my ‘over haul’ project, 1988 238 xlc. I would like to redo the dash. Really, dose anyone still use the speedometer any more? I’m looking to get the Garmin 441. And put it side by side with the 300c fish finder. Has anyone reconfigured the dash gages and fix mounted their gps? Any suggestions? Part of the problem is that there is not much room between the dash and windshield. To stand and drive, I have to open the windshield and bend the hummingbird up to be able to see the depth. Has any one gone down this path before? I would love to see some pictures if you have. And one more thing, how do you get pictures to up load? This forum is the only one that I have trouble with doing that.

This is a picture of the dash. Notice the Hummingbird is almost hitting the windshield.
